the first noel
the first noel, the angel did say, 
wast to certain poor shepherds in fields
as they lay. 
in fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
on a cold winter's night that was so deep.

born is the king of israel.
they looked up and saw a star
shining in the east beyond them far,
and to the earth it gave great light.
and so it continued both day and night.

and by the light of that same star,
three wise men came from country far.
to seek for a king was their intent.
and to follow the star wherever it went.

this star drew light to the north－wesst,
o'er beth-lehem it took its rest, 
and there it did both stop and stay,
right over the place where jesus lay.

and offer' d there in his presence
their gold and myrrh and frankincense.

三位贤人远离家乡来到此。
专心一意寻圣明君王，
去追随那星光，不怕路途远。

在伯利恒上空停留其上，
星光光芒照射在马棚，
此时耶稣正卧在马槽上。

三位贤人走进马棚，
纷纷屈膝虔诚跪拜圣王，
敬将礼物奉献给耶稣，
乳香、没药、还有黄金
